Stimulus Check Affects Tax Refunds In 2023

The online petition that began in order to express the need for the recurring stimulus check, is increasing with great momentum with time. The name of the petition is “Change.org.” It demands about 2000 USD to be provided to all the citizens of the United States of America. Americans are still giving their signatures in order to express their need for money. As for now, the petition achieved more than 2.7 million signatures.

Stimulus Check Argument

In just a span of 3 weeks, the petition earned 200,000 signatures. It was started by Stephanie Bonin in the year 2020. She is one of the restaurant owners along the area of Denver situated in the state of Colorado. Her initiative concerning the stimulus check has constantly been in the headlines of the nation. Stephanie Bonin came up with the idea as she faced a lot of economic hurdles herself after the coronavirus pandemic.

The business that she owns struggled a lot and she was in desperate need of some kind of financial help.  Stephanie Bonin then provided a solution for the government to provide monthly stimulus checks at least until the end of the coronavirus pandemic. This would go a long way in helping the citizens live a comfortable life until things went back to normal.

It is not a hidden fact that the federal government has already provided so many rounds of financial aid payments to the people. They include the expanded version of the child tax credit stimulus checks and the other three rounds of payments. However, despite everything,  there is still so much need for money among the people. The poverty level in the country has not witnessed any improvement and the citizens are having a very hard time making their basic ends meet, like housing and bills.
