Apple Sends Notifications to Developers Invited to WWDC 2025 Event

Last week, Apple officially confirmed that WWDC 2025 will be held from June 9 to June 13. While the majority of the event will be online, there will be an in-person opening keynote at Apple Park. Developers who applied for tickets are now receiving notifications regarding their application status.

Apple extends invitations to developers for the WWDC 2025 event at Apple Park

In an email sent to selected developers, Apple stated, “Congratulations! You’ve been chosen to join us for a special event at Apple Park on Monday, June 9 – and we’re excited to invite you to additional activities before and after as well.”

The special WWDC 2025 event will feature an opening keynote where the company will present iOS 19 along with other new software updates, as well as the Platforms State of the Union. Developers who receive invitations will have the opportunity to meet with Apple experts.

Apple noted that the invited developers were selected “through random selection,” and tickets are non-transferable. While there is no fee for the ticket, all expenses related to travel and accommodation must be borne by the attendees.

Additionally, Apple has invited the “distinguished winners” of the Swift Student Challenge 2025 to a three-day event in Cupertino, which will include participation in the special event at Apple Park.
