Over the weekend, Cheryl Burke toasted four years of sobriety.
The 38-year-old “Dancing With the Stars” pro announced the news on Sunday by posting a TikTok video to the tune of “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish.
Burke started the film with a jacket, an Adidas cap, and black athleisure, but by the end, she had taken it off, and her hair was flipped.
The followers of the choreographer commented with “crazy respect” for her.
Cheryl Burke said she realized she had finally completed her four years of sobriety without any problem. Below her post, a TikTok user commented that sober looks great on her, while another said that she should continue her course.
Cheryl Burke Has Been Sober For Four Years Now:
Cheryl said that her father was an alcohol abuser, and he died soon, so she was trying to crash and burn to check herself in the rehab, or she would have stopped eating cold turkey. She, in the LadyGang podcast, explained that that is her personality. It is either black or white.
At her and Matthew Lawrence’s engagement party, Burke decided to give up drinking, which led to her becoming sober in the summer of 2018.
The dancer has informed her followers about her feelings after the divorce through her podcast, “Burke in the Game.”
She told her listeners last month that she was “lonely” and yearned for “someone to flirt with.”
In the July 5 episode, Burke said that she felt “open to certainly starting to date, gently but surely,” despite admitting that it was not “simple” to meet new people.
Lawrence, for his part, was seen in Hawaii last week with TLC singer Chilli, but his rep made it clear that they are simply friends.
