The infamous ski trial involving Gwyneth Paltrow has come to an end, and it has ended favoring the actress. On Thursday, Paltrow, who is now 50, took to Instagram and said that he felt her integrity being compromised if she had acquiesced to a claim that had no truth.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Ski Trial Will Remain Iconic

In the Instagram post, Gwyneth Paltrow added that the outcome had pleased her and that she appreciated the jury’s and Judge Holmberg’s hard work. She also thanked the thoughtfulness shown during the handling of the case.

About an hour earlier to the post, a jury had given the verdict that Terry Sanderson, a retired doctor, was completely to blame for the ski crash in 2016. This comes despite the doctor suing Gwyneth Paltrow for $300,000.

The jury took no more than 3 hours to deliberate and decide on a verdict. When the court heard the verdict, a faint smile could be seen on Gwyneth Paltrow’s face. Reportedly, she had whispered her good wishes to Sanderson. The doctor, reportedly, had responded by giving her his thanks.

However, Sanderson, in an interview with Extra, said the outcome had left him “very disappointed”. He said that famous person gets a bit of assumed credibility and no one truly wishes to go against them. As such, there is no wonder he hesitated before filing the case.

The final verdict arrives 4 years after Sanderson accused Gwyneth Paltrow of causing a traumatic injury to his brain, and broken ribs as well as denying enjoyment in life. The injuries were sustained, Sanderson claims, after the actress crashed into him while enjoying a ski at Utah’s Deer Valley Resort.
