Jin, the eldest BTS member, and vocalist is all set for his military training to begin on Tuesday. Being the first member of the band to enlist, he joked with his fans about his new hairstyle on Weverse (a Korean app). He said that in his military preparation, his haircut seems to be cuter than it was expected.

It is the law in South Korea that it is necessary for men who are able-bodied to serve in the army between months 18 and 21 before hitting their 30s. Since the personality celebrated his 30th on 4th December, he will begin his service on Tuesday. Sungdeuk Son, the band’s performance director, also shared an Instagram photo captioned Jin to maintain a trip that is healthy and enjoy a time that is precious.

BTS, Including Jin, To Take A Break As A Group

A request has been generated by Big Hit Music via Weverse post to not visit Jin during his service and also promised to keep the fans updated while his time away.

The note asked the fans to keep their supporting words and encouragement in their hearts and that the recruitment ceremony is only supposed to be conducted between the family and military personnel. Hence crowding may cause issues that need to be avoided. The note ended by asking the fans to continue loving Jin and supporting him till the very end of his service and returns and that the company too would be available to help and support Jin at this time of his life.

However, in October the BTS team left a note stating that the members of the band as well as the company are eagerly anticipating working as a group again probably in 2025 as per the service commitment.
