Today marks the debut of Apple’s newest prestige series, *Your Friends & Neighbors*, featuring Jon Hamm in the lead role. This delightful blend of drama and comedy portrays Hamm as Andrew Cooper, a disgraced ex-hedge fund manager who resorts to crime to maintain his extravagant lifestyle.
The first two episodes are currently available for streaming on Apple TV+, with subsequent episodes premiering weekly. There’s also a promotional offer for new subscribers to enjoy Apple TV+ for just $2.99 per month for three months, a deal that conveniently covers the entire season of *Your Friends & Neighbors*.
The series revolves around Andrew Cooper (played by Hamm) engaging in thefts from his affluent neighbors to quickly replenish his dwindling finances while preserving the facade of wealth.
Cooper pilfers opulent items such as luxury watches and handbags from lavish mansions, mistakenly believing that his neighbors won’t notice their absence. As the story unfolds, his criminal behavior leads to unforeseen consequences, revealing some shocking realities about the friends he thought he knew in the community.
Joining Hamm in the cast are Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, and several others. The series was crafted by Jonathan Tropper as part of his extensive agreement with Apple TV+. Tropper is also recognized for his previous work on the Jason Momoa sci-fi show *See*, and is currently developing another upcoming Apple series titled *Lucky*, featuring Anya Taylor-Joy.
After participating in a humorous advertising campaign for the streaming service dubbed *Everyone But Jon Hamm*, the actor known for *Mad Men* has finally landed his own series and made earlier appearances in the third season of *The Morning Show*.
A fresh episode of *Your Friends & Neighbors* will be available every Friday, culminating in the first season’s finale of nine episodes set to air on May 30. Apple has already greenlit the show for a second season.
Also available for streaming today are new episodes of *Dope Thief* and *Surface*. Check out everything that’s coming to Apple TV+ here.
