Kelly Ripa is sharing some never-before-seen family photos — of their Christmas tree.
The talk show host and her husband, Mark Consuelos, shared a series of gorgeous shots featuring their holiday decorations on Wednesday. The photos were taken by photographer Dina Litovsky for PEOPLE magazine.
Ripa, 49, and Consuelos, 53, have been married since 1996 and have three children together: Michael George (born in 1999), Lola Grace (born in 2002), and Joaquin Antonio (born in 2004).
In one photo shared by Ripa on Twitter, the couple is seen posing with their three kids next to the massive tree decorated with “33-year-old ornaments.”
Kelly Ripa Gets In The Festive Mood
Kelly Ripa is getting sentimental about her family’s Christmas tree.
The talk show host, who will be hosting with Ryan Seacrest for the first time this year after Michael Strahan left the daytime talk show Live! With Kelly and Ryan, shared a photo of their 33-year-old ornaments on Instagram Tuesday. “Here’s a secret: I keep all my Christmas decorations up until January (I know),” Ripa wrote in the caption. “It reminds me that there are some things that don’t change, no matter what year it is.”
The Christmas tree that you see in these photos is one that Kelly and Mark have had for 33 years! They bought it when they were first married, and now their kids are helping to decorate it as well. So what does this mean for your own family? Well, if your kids are getting old enough where they can help with the decorations, then I think this would be a great tradition to start. It’s fun for everyone involved, and who doesn’t love decorating trees?
