Lynne Spears, Britney Spears’ mother, responded to the pop star’s bombshell audio clip, claiming to have felt abandoned by the matriarch while under her conservatorship.

Lynne Spears wrote to her Instagram addressing her daughter, saying she has tried her best to support Britney’s dreams and wishes. She said that alongside posting a vintage black-and-white image shows the 40-year-old singer of “Hold Me Closer” and her giggling together.

She also said she has always tried her best to help you with your hardships. She said she never has and will never turn her back on her daughter.

Lynne claimed that Britney was the one who turned her back from her mom, adding that she had made calls countless times and flown out, which made her feel hopeless despite trying everything. However, she concluded the post by saying that she loves her very much, and these talks are for behind the doors of the mother-daughter duo.

Lynne Spears Talked About Bombshell Audio In Public:

A few hours prior, Britney criticized her family for the alleged mistreatment she endured during her 13-year conservatorship. Still, she made the distinction that she was “angrier” with her mother than her father and previous conservator, Jamie Spears.

Since Britney’s conservatorship was removed in November 2021, the singer of “Stronger,” and her mother have been at odds in the public eye for months.

Weeks before the conservatorship ended, Page Six discovered that Lynne Spears had flown from Louisiana to Los Angeles to see Britney, but the Grammy winner “didn’t even let Lynne into her house.”

Around that time, Lynne had submitted a petition requesting that her daughter pay more than $650,000 in legal costs associated with the conservatorship dispute.

The “Lucky” singer recently posted screenshots of texts she sent in 2019 from a mental health facility to her mother, a friend, and a lawyer, all of which she claimed received “no reaction.” And Lynne refuted the allegations.
