Additions to the system include a new Games app and the much-anticipated Journal app.
To install the macOS Tahoe 26 developer beta 2, follow these steps:
- Back up your Mac

- Select the ‘i’ icon next to Beta Updates
- From the dropdown in the top-right, choose the macOS Developer Tahoe Beta

Is there any sign of the public beta?
According to Apple during the WWDC25 keynote, public betas are expected to be released next month. The company typically waits several weeks and several developer beta releases to address performance issues and significant bugs. Public betas usually accompany developer beta 3 or 4.
Regarding developer beta 2, Apple hasn’t specified any new features or changes beyond the usual internal improvements and bug fixes. We are actively exploring to uncover any updates and will keep you informed, so please check back often.
