In a move that has doughnut fans buzzing with excitement, McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme have announced a nationwide partnership that will bring fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts to McDonald’s locations across the U.S. Starting in the second half of 2024, McDonald’s customers can enjoy some of Krispy Kreme’s most popular doughnuts, with nationwide availability expected by 2026.

A Sweet Collaboration

This collaboration follows a successful test run at select McDonald’s restaurants in Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky, where the demand for Krispy Kreme doughnuts exceeded expectations. The three iconic doughnuts—Original Glazed®, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Chocolate Iced Kreme™ Filled—will be available daily, starting at breakfast and continuing throughout the day, while supplies last.

This partnership marks an exciting milestone for McDonald’s as it continues to innovate and expand its breakfast menu. “Our fans’ love for Krispy Kreme runs deep,” said McDonald’s Chief Marketing Officer, Tariq Hassan. For Krispy Kreme, CEO Josh Charlesworth emphasized that this move would “more than double our points of access” by 2026, bringing the joy of Krispy Kreme to new audiences across the country.

So, whether you’re craving a sweet treat with your morning coffee or looking for a mid-day snack, this partnership promises to bring a new level of indulgence to your McDonald’s experience. Keep an eye out for Krispy Kreme’s delicious doughnuts in your local McDonald’s soon!
