Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 17 Pro in under five months, and a recent render by X user kanedacane showcases a fresh perspective on the device’s unibody camera design.
Visualized Unibody Rear Design of iPhone 17 Pro in New Render
As Apple reveals the flagship iPhone 17 lineup this fall, exciting design changes are anticipated.
Among these, the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air will introduce several thrilling modifications, but the Pro series will also see updates—particularly concerning the rear camera system.
Leaks consistently suggest that Apple plans to implement a new ‘camera bar’ design for both the iPhone 17 Air and the Pro and Pro Max versions.
For the Pro series, this alteration was initially believed to lead to a two-tone back design, with the camera bar exhibiting one color while the rest of the device displays another shade.
However, Mark Gurman recently stated:
I’ve been informed that the iPhone 17 Pro will not feature a two-toned back. The camera portion will match the device’s overall color.
The latest X render from kanedacane presents a clear view of what this unibody camera finish may resemble.
As is customary with each release, we’ll have to reserve our final judgment until Apple unveils the official iPhone 17 Pro design.
Initial impressions? I’m not entirely convinced yet. While the end product will likely depart in various subtle ways from today’s renders, my first instinct is that a two-tone design might have offered a more appealing aesthetic.
