New Releases: AirPods Pro 2, M4 MacBook Air, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and More from DMN

Today’s offers include an impressive $180 discount on the new Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air equipped with 24GB of RAM, but let’s kick things off with the AirPods. In addition to the ongoing sales on AirPods Pro 2 and standard AirPods starting at $99, Best Buy is offering Apple’s latest professional-grade earbuds at 50% off their regular price through its refurbishment program. Next, for iPhone enthusiasts, there’s a chance to claim $400 off the iPhone 16 Pro, with refurbished iPhone 16 Pro Max models now available at up to $399 off. Check out the full details below.

Best Buy refurb AirPods Pro 2 now nearly 50% off the list price with $125 in savings, more from $90

We want to highlight the ongoing offer for AirPods Pro 2 at $169, down from $249. The AirPods 4 options are still starting at $99. These discounts match this year’s lowest new prices observed online. However, for those aiming to save even further, Best Buy’s refurbishment listings provide savings of up to $125 off the Apple list prices. Get all the details below.

As previously noted, all three models (AirPods Pro and both AirPods 4 versions) are now at the lowest prices of the year in brand new condition. Notably, the base version of AirPods 4, lacking active noise cancellation (ANC), mirrors the lowest price we have ever tracked on Amazon. If you prefer new units rather than refurbished ones, any of these deals offer fantastic value:

For those interested in additional savings via Best Buy’s Geek Squad refurbished options, the prices are indeed lower. Below are the highlights, particularly the $125 discount on AirPods Pro 2 and the ANC version of AirPods 4 – we wouldn’t recommend the base model AirPods 4 refurb since it’s just $9 less than the new price, but it’s still a deal:

These refurbished units come with Best Buy’s Return & Exchange Promise, a 90-day warranty, and are “thoroughly, painstakingly, and lovingly tested to ensure your device works perfectly right away.”

Save $180 on the Midnight 15-inch M4 MacBook Air w/ 24GB of RAM at $1,419, more from $849

Currently, we’re witnessing $150 discounts on the M4 MacBook Air lineup, with deals finally stabilizing. The most affordable models in 13-inch and 15-inch versions remain at $849 and $1,049, respectively; however, we want to highlight a configuration that offers even greater savings – the 24GB 15-inch M4 MacBook Air in Midnight, now $180 off.

Generally, the 13-inch model is a favored choice for those preferring a compact design and a lower price point. There are deals across all models, but if you seek an upgraded experience with more RAM and additional screen space, you should focus on the offer showcased today.

On Amazon, the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is down to $1,419 shipped. Only the Midnight color is priced this low; other colors are listed at $1,449.

This deal is currently $180 off the list price of $1,599 and matches the best price we’ve observed for this configuration. It remains the lowest price tracked on any 15-inch 24GB M4 MacBook Air, outside of a brief drop on the Starlight model earlier this month.

For shoppers interested in different color or size configurations, here’s the pricing breakdown across the lineup:

  • 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB from $850 (Reg. $999)
  • 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB from $1,049 (Reg. $1,199)
  • 13-inch M4 MacBook Air 24GB/512GB from $1,249 (Reg. $1,399)
  • 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/256GB from $1,049 (Reg. $1,199)
  • 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 16GB/512GB from $1,249 (Reg. $1,399)
  • 15-inch M4 MacBook Air 24GB/512GB from $1,419 (Reg. $1,599)

Unlocked iPhone 16 Pro Max units now up to $399 off in ‘exceptionally refurbished’ condition (1-yr. warranty)

We are still seeing a significant $400 price drop on the unlocked iPhone 16 Pro through the official Amazon Renewed Premium program. However, deals on the 16 Pro Max directly from Amazon are less common (most listings come from third-party sellers). Nonetheless, over at Woot, we are tracking discounts up to $399 on the iPhone 16 Pro Max in “exceptionally refurbished” condition with a 1-year warranty. Further details below.

These listings cover all three storage capacities, accompanied by a variety of color options for each. Here’s the pricing compared to buying a brand new unlocked unit from Apple:

Clearly, the 1TB model exhibits the deepest discounts, priced at $399 less than what you’d pay for a brand new unit from Apple.

As for warranty and refurbishment specifics, Woot describes these phones as “Exceptionally Refurbished” with minimal marks or scratches visible from an arm’s length away.

These phones also arrive with a test sticker confirming at least 95% battery life and under 100 battery cycles. They ship in plain white packaging and come with a 1-year vendor warranty.

While there’s an undeniable appeal to unboxing a brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max from Apple, the savings of hundreds of dollars is equally compelling. Currently, these are the best deals for the current-generation model, especially since new units are quite rare at this price point. Unless you plan on waiting for the next generation, these refurbished deals are your best shot at significant savings.

Most affordable iPad mini 7 just dropped back to an Amazon low at $399 ($100 off), more

Apple deals are lighting up this morning as we head into the weekend, starting with the newest iPad mini 7 lineup. Alongside offers on AirPods Pro 2, AirPods 4, and iPad A16 (and much more), Amazon has reinstated its all-time low pricing on Apple’s ultra-compact iPad mini 7 series, with deals beginning from $399 shipped.

While some colors in the lineup haven’t yet hit Amazon’s lowest prices, the majority are now $100 off. The regular price of the 128GB model is $499, but it’s now $399. The mid-tier 256GB variant, priced at $599, is marked down to $499, and the top-of-the-line 512GB model has also seen a $100 drop, landing at $699 shipped.

These deals correspond to the lowest prices we’ve tracked on Amazon to date, with a few exceptions for configurations that experienced brief dips below these prices – the 256GB variant even reached $489. Additionally, while Costco members enjoyed savings of up to $144 on select upgraded models, those offers have since expired (at the time of writing).

Personally, I believe most users will find the entry-level model to be the most appealing. Larger storage capacities are always nice, yet most individuals don’t use a mini as a primary workstation, making the savings more worthwhile by offloading data through the USB-C port, don’t you think? Regardless, these deals are trending today and likely will continue through the weekend on Apple’s latest iPad mini 7 – the most budget-friendly model in the current-generation lineup compatible with Apple Intelligence.
