While most of us would give everything to spend time with Timothée Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence claims that filming with the A-List stars was “absolute misery.” Together with Jonah Hill and Meryl Streep, the three actors participated in Adam McKay’s critically acclaimed Netflix film Don’t Look Up back in 2021.

It turns out, though, that there was more to this action-comedy about a massive asteroid hurtling toward Earth than meets the eye. For one actress, it was just horrible. When the film debuted on Netflix in December 2021, several of the actors were experiencing their first human-to-human communication for a long time, as Covid-19 regulations began to loosen.

Jennifer Lawrence Concluded That This Indicated It Was A Formula For Disaster

In an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, Jennifer Lawrence described a day when she was filming a sequence in which DiCaprio, Chalamet, and herself were all riding in a car together. It was the “most annoying day of [her] life,” as she put it. “That day, they drove me insane.” What it was, I’m not sure,” Jennifer Lawrence said to Colbert. “Timothée was just excited to be out of the house, I think it was his first scene,” the Hunger Games actor said, venting her annoyance at earning $5 million less than DiCaprio for the film. Lawrence did continued to say that the two stars are “really kind,” but he also said, “I’m not sure. All I can recall is how miserable I was that day.”
