Rosie O’Donnell just shared a picture of the cake that Tom Cruise sent her, and it’s truly a work of art. The cake features hand-painted frosting and edible confetti, and Rosie says it was a gift from “The Outsiders” star Taylor Schilling.

There are plenty of reasons to love Tom Cruise, but here’s one more: the actor recently sent Rosie O’Donnell a cake that was so good it made her cry. The cake was coconut-flavored and had white chocolate and fresh strawberries on top.

Tom Cruise is an American actor and producer who has won three Golden Globe Awards for his work on the Mission Impossible franchise, as well as an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in Jerry Maguire. He also starred in Top Gun, which earned him a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Motion Picture Actor in a Comedy/Musical, and Eyes Wide Shut (1999), which was nominated for the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival and won several awards from the critics’ groups across America.

Rosie O’Donnell Flaunts Gifts

Rosie O’Donnell is an American actress, comedian, singer, and television personality. She is best known for her tenures as a cast member on The Rosie O’Donnell Show and The View.

O’Donnell began her entertainment career as a round-the-clock nanny in New York City’s Upper West Side. In 1987 she landed a recurring role on the soap opera As the World Turns and for three years she played Sable Colby Winters.

In 1990 O’Donnell started appearing on the daily talk show Donahue until its cancellation later that year when she became one of four new co-hosts on ABC’s daytime panel talk show Home Show with Deborah Norville (also known as Home). After its cancellation in 1993, O’Donnell went on to guest star in episodes of Kate & Allie (1992) and The Cosby Mysteries (1994) before being offered a hosting job at Lifetime Television’s original program Strong Medicine where she was cast as Dr. Julia Wainwright from 1999 – 2002.

Tom Cruise is a great guy and he sent Rosie O’Donnell a coconut cake, so you know she’s going to love it. “I really appreciate the cake @tomcruise sent me with his handwritten note,” she wrote on Twitter Tuesday morning. “That man knows how to make someone happy! And it was delicious too! Coconut cake is my favorite! I’m thrilled he gets me lol.”

Tom Cruise has long been known for his generous spirit, including gifting Oprah Winfrey with a $10 million mansion after she called him her “favorite leading man” during an interview in 2012—so this gesture comes as no surprise. In fact, Rosie even joked about Tom’s good nature in response: “And yes Tom…I am still waiting for my invite for your fortieth birthday party next week (ahem).”
