Rosie O’Donnell later expressed sorrow for trying to make fun of Anne Heche on stage due to the actress’ peculiar 2001 interview with Barbara Walters.

The comedian, 60, addressed the terrible vehicle incident that left Heche, 53, in “serious condition” and battling for her life on TikTok on Sunday.

Rosie O’Donnell said she could not stop thinking about this incident with Anne Heche. She said that it was a horrifying experience to digest the news, and she was feeling bad as she had made fun of her earlier before this accident. Her TikTok video was more about admitting these to herself.

She also added that if she had an honest discussion about drunk driving, they could find out how prevalent it was. She implied that Heche could well have been under the influence of substances.

Rosie O’Donnell Feel Bad About Her For Mocking Anne Heche before Her Accident:

Heche claimed she developed a “dream world” and a secondary personality named Celestia after being sexually assaulted by her dad, Donald. At the same time, she was younger in a 2001 interview with Walters for “20/20.”

She said she was not crazy, as most people might make out of a statement, but she was raised under crazy circumstances. She said she had this fantasy world where she would have escaped and called her other persona Celestia. She believed that Celestia had supernatural powers.

According to USA Today, O’Donnell later made fun of Heche for the interview at a charity for ovarian cancer research held at Carolines Comedy Club in Times Square in 2002.

Rosie O’Donnell made a joke about it before poking fun at Heche’s sexuality and her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres.

Heche, who was seriously wounded after a mishap that left her automobile “engulfed” in flames, has been struggling for her life since last Friday, according to a prior story from Page Six.
