A recent post by leaker Majin Bu on social media offers a unique perspective on the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro cases, revealing that they may differ from our initial expectations.
The iPhone 17 Pro is set to abandon the conventional square camera bump found in the top left corner. Instead, it will feature a sleek camera bar stretching across the top of the device. Visually, it will resemble this concept:
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the camera bar is expected to match the color of the iPhone’s body rather than being a uniform black. Nonetheless, it is confirmed that the iPhone 17 Pro will indeed feature a camera bar.
This morning, we shared new case designs from leaker Sonny Dickson, which indicate a single cutout at the top of the device, leaving some areas exposed. However, the latest images from Majin Bu propose that not all cases will conform to this design.
Some cases could actually incorporate two separate cutouts: one for the triple camera setup and another for the LiDAR, flash, and microphone components.
This alternative design might appear slightly unusual, but it does offer enhanced protection for the device.
