Beginning this month in a number of locations, stimulus check payments come at a time when Americans are already straining incredibly hard to keep up with the soaring cost of living.

The inflation rate has dropped from 9.1% to 8.3%, yet middle-class Americans still report having trouble making ends meet. Their compensation is not enough to cover their growing living costs.

More than 23 million Californians are expected to get their state’s tax return Stimulus Check in the future months.

Californians Should Apply For The New Stimulus Check

Anyone who now resides in California or has in the past is eligible to get a refund, with amounts varying based on income from $200 to $1050 per person.

For people from the middle class, refunds will initially be given to people who chose to have their California stimulus payments automatically deducted from their bank accounts in order to maintain their current quality of life. Between October 7 and October 25, the initial installment of their tax refund will be deposited into their account. The final payment will be made in cash between October 28 and November 14.

If you did not select direct payments, the state will mail you a debit card between October 25 and December 10. By January 15, 2023, everyone who has not received their Stimulus Checks will be issued a debit card. The following criteria can be used to establish eligibility for tax refunds:

Anyone who is considered a “dependent” by the 2020 Act is not eligible for a refund. You must make less than $250,000 per year and less than $500,000 per year, respectively, in order to file as an individual or married couple.
