The recent round of Golden State Stimulus check payments will be bringing in some more green for the citizens of California. California Franchise Tax Board’s Andrew LePage has stated that people who have been considered eligible will be able to receive payments between $500 and $1100 in several cases. He further stated that people would definitely be qualifying with an annual income below $75,000 in 2020. They would also have to be residents of California for the most part of the year as well as living in the state currently.

California Will Start Issuing their Golden State Stimulus Check

As it has been reported, if one qualifies, they would be receiving $600, and in the event that one files jointly, they would be receiving a stimulus check sum of $1200 which increases to $500 more if you have a dependent. But you need to realize that the combined income while filing jointly has to be below $75,000. Also, if you have already received money from the very first round of the GSS, there’s a chance that you would be missing out on the second payment.

LePage clarified that if one were to qualify for GSS 2, and still did not receive a Golden State Stimulus Check, coupled with the fact that they have a couple of dependents, they would be receiving a sum of $1,100 for GSS 2. It has also been mentioned that people with ITINs in place of a Social Security number will be receiving a sum of $1,000 with a dependent.

For most individuals, the number of dependents will not be a major factor. LePage has stated that it is simply based on the question of whether you have a dependent or not- rather than the number of dependents that you might have. California will be delivering the first round of the stimulus check payments by the end of the month and will be sending them through on a two-week basis.
