Stimulus Check Update: Americans In Support Of The Federal Government

This year, a number of lingering pandemic problems have dominated the news as high inflation has continued to harm American households. 7 days remain until the crucial midterm elections, and both major political parties are yet again debating stimulus check payments.

According to a study conducted, which Newsweek published, over 2/3rds of Americans support the national govt issuing additional stimulus check payments to aid them in battling inflation.

Redfield & Wilton Strategies, a research firm, surveyed fifteen hundred of American citizens between October 23 & 24, 2022, to conduct the survey for Newsweek. The results showed that sixty-three percent of respondents were in favor of the federal govt printing new inflation stimulus check. 42% of those surveyed indicated that they “agree wholeheartedly” with more support being provided.

According to USA.gov, the IRS released the final payment of fourteen hundred dollars to eligible Americans in March 2021.

Many others, meanwhile, are against the concept of extra aid. According to the Redfield & Wilton Strategies/Newsweek study, 15% of respondents are undecided, while 18percent are opposed to new inflation stimulus check payments. Another 3% are unsure of their view on the issue.
