  • WazirX Just announced the listing of 7 new coins on the WazirX/Binance transfer option.
  • After the integration in February of this year, WazirX users got the ability to trade directly on Binance.
  • Users will now be able to do so with more coins, and to switch them back and forth at zero fees.

According to Nischal Shetty, the CEO of WazirX, the Indian crypto company has decided to add support for a number of new cryptocurrencies for the Binance/WazirX transfer option. Shetty noted that the included tokens were among the most requested ones, indicating that the decision came as a result of demand by the community.

The move will see the addition of seven new tokens, according to WazirX’s own announcement. The coins in question include the likes of ETH, LINK, ADA, WAVES, BAND, LEND, and ZIL.

However, an even more important and interesting detail is the fact that moving the coins between the wallets will be enabled at zero fees.

More coins might arrive soon

As many may remember, WazirX initially integrated with Binance back in February of this year. The world’s leading exchange platform saw major potential in the Indian market. Soon after, it turned out to be a good decision, as the Supreme Court negated the central bank’s decision to forbid other banks from providing service to crypto businesses.

With the move, Indian citizens were able to link their accounts on both platforms, and it made trading with WazirX via Binance a possibility. Now, with the list of supported coins expanded, Indian users will undoubtedly have plenty of new opportunities in the altcoin market — particularly when it comes to DeFi tokens.

Of course, it is more than possible that the new listings will not end there. The tweet did hint at the possibility of new coins receiving support in weeks to come.

The crypto community has already started speculating, and it is entirely possible that WazirX might take a hint or two from its users for the second time, and add the coins that are the most popular among its traders.
