The Register said that Tencent had acknowledged the breakthrough and noted that the experience could produce deepfakes in both English and Chinese. Five different forms of digital human construction are available: 2D actual person, 2D cartoon, 3D realistic, and 3D partially realistic. Tencent plans to utilize the platform to present live-telecasted infomercials targeted at the Chinese market. According to Jiemian’s analysis, deepfakes may also be used to pose as “lawyers, doctors, or people from any other profession.”
