On Sunday, DeAndre Hopkins, receiver, had his worst game with the Cardinals as the team lost to the LA Rams by 18-7. The receiver managed to catch just four passes while rushing for 35 yards. The receiver also drew a penalty for pass interference from 18 yards. His fantastic catch got nullified after he got flagged for a penalty due to offensive pass interference.

Unsportsmanlike Behaviour Not Expected From DeAndre Hopkins

He then compounded this issue by giving away a penalty due to his unsportsmanlike conduct when he managed to flip one official afterward.DeAndre Hopkins appeared very frustrated in the whole game which later continued to the postgame. He wrote on social media for criticizing the call made against him and another call that was supposed to be made but was not made.

His 1st tweet was about that call made due to an offensive interference of a pass. It appeared as if Hopkins threw and pushed the defender of the other time to one side and got deservedly flagged, however, he argued saying that the other team’s defender was already off-balance and was not attempting to go for the ball. However, DeAndre Hopkins resumed protesting even after that. He questioned and criticized the no-call when Jalen Ramsey, Rams cornerback broke up the pass inside the end zone.

There appeared to be a large number of no-calls and calls, which were questionable, that didn’t seem to go in the way of the Cardinals. The protest of DeAndre Hopkins seemed justified here. It was a clear penalty and the Cardinals deserved the first goal from the line of one-yard. They probably would have scored one touchdown or trail 18-13 or 18-15 in the few final moments of the match, which all depended on the attempt of two-point. Hopkins had 4 catches and reached 115 catches which is a career-high for him in this season.
