Jill Duggar and her spouse, Derick Dillard, have revealed that they are expecting a baby after a terrible miscarriage.
The Counting On actress is expecting her second child with her husband, Derick Dillard. On Sunday, Feb. 27, Jill Duggar announced this in a blog post on the Dillard family website. Jill’s good news comes less than a year after she had a miscarriage, which she revealed in a recent blog post. Amanda, 30, went on to say that she and Derick, 32, are grateful for a healthy infant and pregnancy so far and that they are eager to learn the baby’s gender soon.

A cute family photo of the couple smiling with a baby balloon next to their two kids, Sam, 4, and Israel, 6, was included in the announcement. Jill Duggar first reported she had a miscarriage in October 2021, when she said on Instagram that she and her husband were expecting their third child. They were very ecstatic. Unfortunately, they were unable to save the infant.
The letter was accompanied by a video montage from her brief pregnancy, which included the moment she and Derick found out they were expecting. Despite the fact that Jill stated in a blog post that it was too early to determine the baby’s gender, they chose the name River because it encapsulates their baby’s value and the life they will never forget. Following the termination of their 19 Kids and Counting spinoff Counting On in June 2021, the pair spoke out. Before the cancellation of Counting On, Jill had expressed her wish to disassociate herself from the Duggar family.
