Viewers’ views of Johnny Depp’s presence at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday conflicted.

Radio producer Shem tweeted that having Johnny Depp in the VMA’s moon man was a great choice, whereas journalist Alex Suskind said that having Johnny Depp at the VMAs for cameos is very good. We have seen such divided comments about Johnny Depp’s appearance at the event from many people. Depp, 59, appeared via hologram as the famous silver astronaut statue that victors are given during the brief time he was visible on the screen. Hey, you know what? He jokingly said. I required the work.

The song “Mama Said Knock You Out” by LL Cool J started to play in the background, which seems to be an odd reference to the actor’s tumultuous marriage to Amber Heard.

Johnny Depp’s VMA Appearance Divided The Crowd Of The Event:

Depp emerged during another show section with another remark, so it seems he will appear intermittently during the entire production. Johnny Depp said he wants the people to know he is available for bar mitzvahs, birthdays, weddings, and wakes.

On August 21, The Post received confirmation from a production insider that Depp would make a surprise presentation at the ceremony.

When news of the “Pirate of the Caribbean” actor’s guest appearance at the VMAs initially surfaced, there were a lot of reactions on social media.

More than two months after Depp’s defamation trial victory over his ex-wife Amber Heard, he makes an appearance at the VMAs.

Several devastating accusations were leveled against the “Edward Scissorhands” actor throughout the well-reported trial, even though the verdict was largely in his favor.

Heard, 36, said that Depp attacked her and threatened to kill her while abusing booze and narcotics. She also said he had furious outbursts about her relationships with James Franco, a former co-star.

It seems that Johnny Depp’s career bounced back quickly after he won the trial.
