Two specific people, 43-year-old Alexey Bilyuchenko and 29-year-old Aleksandr Verner are responsible for laundering Bitcoin from Mt. Gox. The US Justice Department has found them. And pressed charges against them. They took control over Mt. Gox. They have already stolen 647,000 Bitcoin. Which is worth billions. They have tricked the user and the server. They have stolen the coins during the exchange. They have apparently hacked the system and stole nearly $400 million from Mt. Gox. The event was uncalled for. Many users believed they infested a bug in the system before looting them.

The Loot Took Place Throughout The Year, The US Justice Department Rather Late

Alexey Bilyuchenko and Aleksandr Verner have been doing these for the past year. The US justice department is late finding out the truth. They have stolen $400 million from Mt. Gox. It’s been unused for the last few years. Alexey Bilyuchenko is also charged with fraud. He has been accessing BTC e-exchange for the past few years. Which has been shut down by the government. It was shut down due to laundering money illegally.

Mt.Gox was hacked in 2011. How they were able to access them, stands the biggest question. They hacked it in 2011 and continued till 2014 May. Perhaps the US justice department has failed to do its tasks at the right time. The US administration has been sensing Russian invasion in the world of Crypto since the war started in Ukraine.

Russia has been targeting the US since then. Both charged men are Russian natives. They have hacked the gox server which is in Japan. It took them years of work and intelligence to transfer all the coins to BTC. The disruption was noticed by users only when they lost many coins during the exchange.
