Steny Hoyer, the Majority Leader of the House, hinted at the possible time of the release of the package. This came from him this Friday. According to him, his chamber would have to work on the details as soon as possible. The relief bill for the Coronavirus by the 7th December.
A bunch of political leaders is turning towards the legislators, in the run-up to the return of Congress to Washington. They are demanding the lawmakers to pass a short-term relief package that would help the country for a few months. To this, President-elect Joe Biden has named as the “dark winter”. What is this means is to refresh some most valuable programs that are otherwise going to expire in December, this year. Not only that, but it also means that there will be no stimulus check 2 this time. This comes with the notion that a broader package would be on the discussion list after Joe Biden officially joins in as the President of the US, on the 20th of January. That is not it! There also no surety that there will be a stimulus check 2.
