Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn is celebrating her “wacky man’s” 72nd birthday by revealing why she and Kurt Russell never married. On Friday, Hawn headed to Insta and shared a hilarious photo of her 40-year companion. “Happy birthday to the oddball in my life! I adore you, baby “She added a red heart emoji to her message.

Oliver Hudson, Goldie Hawn’s son, commented on her post, saying, “I adore this photograph!!! … Hahahah… It sums up your whole 40-year relationship.” Kate Hudson also paid tribute to Russell. She shared a cute video of her child Rani blowing out Russell’s birthday candle.

Goldie Hawn Wishes The Love Of Her Life

“With our family, every day is double the joy! Pa’s birthday and St. Patrick’s Day! This man is amazing! Let us show Kurt some love on his birthday! Pa, happy birthday! “Along with the video, she wrote. The birthday greetings follow Hawn and Russell’s latest interview with Variety, in which the couple said that they were “continuously” asked why they’ve never married.

“‘When are you going to be married?’ people kept asking. ‘How come you are not married?'” Russell stated to the media that he was referring to their early years together in the 1980s. “And we were like, ‘Who cares about that?'” Goldie Hawn added. “We asked our children if they were interested. They did not do it. We did not do it.”

They met on the set of the 1966 comedy “The One and Only, Authentic, Original Family Band.” At the time, she was 21 and he was 16. Russell, according to Goldie Hawn, was “adorable” but “far too young” to be her date. They began dating in 1983 and just marked four decades of marriage on Valentine’s Day.
