Michael Lockwood Is Ready To Fight For His Kids

Michael Lockwood, the estranged ex of Lisa Marie Presley, is ready to protect and fight for his twins Finley Aaron Love and Harper Vivienne Ann amid the trust battle that is taking place inside the family.

In a hearing that took place on Thursday in Los Angeles, Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto went on to consider the request of Lockwood to represent the twins in a trust battle that took place over Lisa Marie’s will. Scott Rahn, his attorney, claimed that Lockwood was absolutely ready, willing, and able to protect the interests of his children.

When Judge Scaduto asked the 61-year-old musician if he had any preexisting relationships with the parties that were involved in this battle, Rahn mentioned that they were all on good terms. He stated that Lockwood had a collegial, good, and familial relationship with all of the parties that were involved. In fact, he is not just legally bound- but also bound morally to protect the interests of the twins. But as it turns out, Lockwood wasn’t even invited to the funeral- for Lisa Marie had stated that it was the last thing she wanted.

Michael Lockwood Will be Receiving Guardianship Over Lisa Marie’s Twins

The lawyers for Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley had no solid objections to this request- and the judge stated that she would be issuing a written ruling. The ruling also came later on the afternoon of Thursday- with the court granting the petitions pursuant. Michael Lockwood had previously filed a petition stating that he wanted to be appointed the legal guardian of the twins’ ad litem in March. His reasoning was that the minor was a beneficiary of a trust at issue before the probate court in the case that was referenced above.

Michael Lockwood welcomed Finley and Harper with Lisa Marie in October 2008. And as it turns out, both Finley and Harper signed the forms- where they consented to Lockwoof being the guardian ad litem at this point in time.
