Celebrities Are Coming Together For the ‘Stand Up For Ukraine’ Rally

There has been a social media buzz that on the 8th of April, some stars from the sports and entertainment business will come together and stand up for Ukraine. This movement will be joined by numerous celebrities like Katy Perry, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Madonna, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Billy Joel, Chris Rock, Annie Lennox, and many more. 

The ‘Stand Up For Ukraine’ Rally Will Try To Pressurize The Government

Everybody is hoping that they will be filled by social media messages on the 8th of April, from the different activists and entertainers who will raise their voices to gather protection and relief for Ukraine. This is not just a problem for Ukraine, as Russia can continue its inhuman behavior with other countries soon who are not supporting them in this crisis.

The objective of this summit is to stand up for Ukraine where all the celebrities will try to use the digital platforms to pressurize the U.S. Government to provide more emergency funds and other assistance to the people of Ukraine who are suffering from the invasion. Moreover, millions of other people are all experiencing hardships and difficulties due to conflicts in other countries like Afghanistan,  Yemen, and South Sudan for which the stars will also raise their voices. 

The summit of Stand Up For Ukraine was declared on 26th March by Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, and Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission. The motive of this initiative is to tell everyone to share a minimum amount of money for the refugees and other distressed people.

As per the data of UNHCR, approximately 12 million people still need help due to the war situation, and the continuous dropping of bombs led to 3.2 million people running away to neighboring countries. The music industry has also banned services like Sony Music, Spotify, Live Nation, YouTube, and many more from Russia to fight against them.
