Savannah Chrisley is providing an honest update about the way Julie Chrisley, a mother serving a seven-year jail sentence, is faring. Savannah Chrisley, who has been serving an extended prison term for financial offenses, spoke candidly about her mother’s situation at FMC Lexington in Kentucky, stating that it is “definitely harder” for her mother. Savannah’s mom is hiding her family from a lot of strangers while working tirelessly to maintain her hectic schedule and prioritize her physical well-being.

The fact that Chrisley’s parents both have been serving time in federal jail makes adjusting to their new normal challenging. Savannah continued as she explained more of Julie’s journey narrating that she is just kind of clings to herself. They converse when she visits, and things kind of just flow from there.

Savannah Chrisley’s Feeling About Her Parents

Savannah Chrisley finds it difficult to decide between Julie and Todd and compares it with having parents who divorced. Savannah calls each of her dad and mom on occasion in-between visits. But just lately her mom also sent her home like thirty or forty days’ worth of letters since the manner in which it operates is with just sending stuff to the house. Savannah Chrisley kept a daily log of her feelings and thoughts, with the refrain that she cannot believe her life has been put on hold recurring frequently.

To her, she doesn’t think a letter goes by that she doesn’t mention how much she misses my dad, in my opinion. They are not permitted to speak, she added. What month are they in now that it’s going on? It is the month of April? We have virtually completed 3, 4, or 4 months. Moving on a four-month period together and not missing a day of communication is quite a feat after nearly thirty years of being together. Reading about Savannah’s day when her father was absent, was challenging for Savannah Chrisley.
