In 2022, Khloe Kardashian had to face a significant worry over a possible skin cancer diagnosis. Recently, the 39-year-old co-founder of Good America went into detail about it in her story on Instagram on September 19th. It ended with a spot of melanoma having to be removed from her face.
Khloe Kardashian’s Melanoma Scare
In the post, she shared a selfie picture of herself using the mirror with the focus on her cheek. In the caption, Khloe Kardashian wrote that there is not really a need to separately point out a considerable indentation on her face’s side because it is quite noticeable on its own. She explains that a tumor had to be removed from her cheek which had left the indentation.
Khloe Kardashian continued by saying that she definitely has no complaints since having an indentation is a minor price to pay to not have melanoma. As such, she showed her appreciation to all the doctors who have helped her and continue to do so with her skin cancer issues. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, skin cancer has three primary types. Melanoma is one of them. Khloe Kardashian, one of the stars of The Kardashians, shared several more pictures showcasing how her cheeks looked before and after. She also revealed that she has decided to fill the indentation using cosmetic injections.
In the caption for one of the before images, Khloe Kardashian described that it was how it looked before her American tribe filled her cheek after getting approval from Dr. Fischer. She had to wait more than nine months to get it filled. She explains that patience is the most important part and that everything has to be ensured to be medically safe. She then followed it up with a few selfies before taking the injections and succeeding in a single round of them.
