The former first lady of USA, Michelle Obama has penned down a special tribute to the legendary dancer Stephen Boss following his demise, as the legendary dancer killed himself.

Michelle Obama, the former first-lady of the country penned her tribute following the news of the legendary dancer taking his own life that saddened the whole country.

They initially met via her many appearances on The Ellen Degeneres show, where Stephen served as a DJ as well as co-executive producer, and also through his involvement in the Let’s Move! campaign she started in 2010 to fight juvenile obesity.

She commented that she had been devastated to hear of his passing and that he had been a “amazing force,” describing him as “someone who emanated compassion and optimism and wanted to ensure that others around him would feel it.”

Michelle Obama ended the homage by urging anybody who was having trouble or needed to talk to somebody to call the suicide and crisis hotline 988.

As part of the celebration of Let’s Move’s 5th anniversary, they did the #GimmeFive performance, which was created especially for the occasion, with former pro dancer Travis Wall.

Stephen’ wife, fellow graduate of So You Think You Can Dance, namely Allison Boss, confirmed her husband’s passing in a note to PEOPLE on Wednesday.

Alison said that it pains her to reveal the news that her husband has left them. she said that her husband always lit up rooms he enter with his charms. She also said that her husband was a through and through family man and he always led with light and love.

She concluded her statement expressing her love to her dead husband and saying that they are going to miss him.
