The long-awaited global tour of Beyoncé began on Wednesday in Stockholm. Unusually for her, the music icon began her almost three-hour performance with slower hits like “I Care.” She further gave a lively rendition of “Renaissance” songs including “Cuff It” and “Alien Superstar”.

The concert continued with the greatest songs “Formation,” and “Crazily in Love” before ending with the mesmerizing “Summer Renaissance.” In September last year, it had been reported that Beyoncé would be touring in support of her album “Renaissance”.

“Renaissance” To Become The Highest-Grossing Album Of All Times

In February, she unveiled the schedule for the tour that would last for over 50 days, listing stops in, Chicago, London, LA, Amsterdam, LA, Atlanta, as well as New Orleans amongst several others.

As per Monday’s article in Forbes, Beyoncé’s recent tour may just surpass Taylor Swift’s ongoing tour by more than $500M with revenue of close to $2.1B, making it the highest-grossing concert chain in history. One of the year’s most well-received albums, “Renaissance,” debuted at the top of several magazines on the array of the finest albums of last year. With four Grammys won for the record and 32 lifetime victories, Queen Bey is now the most-awarded performer in the history of the ceremony. The 41-year-old Beyoncé has said that “Renaissance” is the first act of a “3-act project,” but it is unknown what surprises she has planned for her fan base, the Beyhive.

The performer’s most recent tour with her partner, Jay-Z, was to support their collaborative album. Her first individual performance after the 2016 “Formation” tour is “Renaissance”. The set list further includes more phenomenal songs like, “1+1”, “Cozy”, “Lift Off”, “Alien Superstar”, “Energy”, “Cuff It”, “Diva”, “My Power”, “Partition”, “My Power”, “Church Girl”, “Virgo’s Groove”, “Move”, Naughty Girl, and “Thique” among several others.
