Cameron Diaz is more than happy to reunite with the film fraternity as she is recently working with Jamie Foxx for their upcoming Netflix movie called Back in Action. A source close to the actor informed PEOPLE that the actress had gone through a great summer with her family- which included her husband Benji Madden, and their traveler daughter, Raddix and that they had gone on a trip around Europe together after she shot for a film arduously.
The source also claimed that the shooting schedule with Foxx had been pretty grueling and intense, and she was quite glad when it ended. Last year, Diaz famously announced that she had joined the cast of Back in Action alongside Jamie Foxx, 55. For those who are unaware, this marks her first film since she stepped away from the action in 2014 in order to focus on family, as well as start her own wine company. Also, this is her first film since welcoming Raddix into the world.

The source also informed People that Cameron Diaz was pretty excited about her position in life as she signed on to film with Foxx. She was also excited about filming again- but she definitely didn’t miss the long hours- for it was very difficult for her to be away from her daughter for long periods of time.
The insider added that although she was extremely involved with Avaline, her work schedule ever since her child was born had been very flexible. In a telephonic conversation that was shared between Diaz and Foxx back in 2022, she told him that she was excited to get back, but she didn’t know how to go about it.
