Drake’s mother came from nothing (as a newborn), and now she is here (as his grandmother)! The 36-year-old hip-hop legend and his son hitting his 5th birthday, Adonis recently celebrated Sandi Graham’s birthday together, and as expected it was filled with priceless family moments. Drizzy thanked his mother for raising the man he is today in a touching Instagram post, where he also posted several images from the event.

Drake Celebrates His Mom’s Special Day Alongside Family

Drake opened the tweet with “75 Years. Thanking his Mama, for watching him through those nine months. the entire sorrow and pain. He sent his love for her knowing the pressure she was under. Drake’s son Adonis, whom he shares with French painter Sophie Brussaux, can be noticed in the pictures wearing a gray-colored suit like his father whilst blowing out the birthday candles with him.

In one image, he can be seen waving peace signs with Drake (originally Aubrey Graham), and in another, he is seen copying the same alongside Sandi and Dennis Graham, the rapper’s dad. There were more endearing family interactions. Drake shared a couple more videos from the occasion via Instagram Story on Saturday, including one in which he jokingly referred to Sandi as his “twin.” He may also be found doing a speech during the party while clutching Adonis tightly in other pictures.

Drake and Sandi his mother have a special rapport and have very often spoken up about it since his days acting on Degrassi in her Canadian basement. One day before the release of his Certified album Lover Boy in 2021, Sandi expressed her own love for the lover boy through a special card that he posted on his socials. She also expressed her pride in him.

The countdown finally reaches one, and Graham writes, “Being your mother has been the greatest treat of my life. With every new album, my own heart skips up a beat.” “Together, we’ve traveled a long and difficult path; today is the last day. Son, I want to honor you more than you can imagine.”
