Kanye West can no longer be saved. This is beyond question at this point. Ye (the name he legally changed to last year) has caused damage that is difficult to undo in the short span of just a few months.
Collaborators are now criticizing his behavior, his work will always be soiled, and his personal life is a graveyard of wrongdoings. Ye has a history of irregular and dangerous behavior, but he has only recently started to feel the effects of it. He is still far from being canceled, whatever that implies. Ye’s behavior has been getting worse for a time, according to a recent Rolling Stone story. And that’s not completely shocking considering his history of open misogyny.

Kanye West posted a 30-minute “video” about Adidas officials watching porn on his phone at a business meeting to YouTube last month. That’s wrong, but the Rolling Stone report claims that Ye also allegedly gave Yeezy creatives access to an “explicit film” of his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, as well as an intimate photo of her. Kardashian has not yet responded publicly to these specific charges. He has also refrained from publicly commenting on the charges’ credibility. Given Ye’s history of talking about women—including the ones he, supposedly, happily slept with and dated—and the current allegations in Rolling Stone, the accusations make sense as well.
