The basketball star was quoted as saying that he was convinced that he could do that in a manner that would not impair his training at all for the next season. Forward Lauri Markkanen of the Utah Jazz is prepared for the assignment.

The basketball player geotagged Helsinki in an Instagram photo of the buzz haircut he got over the end of the week, and he has now formally signed up for military duty in Finland. The 25-year-old Lauri Markkanen joked in his photo that the curls would be returning while signing for encouragement.

Lauri Markkanen’s Thoughts On Joining The Army

Lauri Markkanen at the beginning of this month opened up about how it was “essential” for him to serve his nation as a citizen of Finland. He said that they should not only do this but also take joy in it as he believes that this provides a good example. He further reassures that he can accomplish the same without jeopardizing his preparation for the next season. Lauri Markkanen also spoke about the same saying that Lauri had always known that he would do it and that he needed to do his civic responsibility as a citizen.

Markkanen delayed his military duty while competing for Arizona University and the national team of Finland. Lauri Markkanen will receive his training at the Defense Forces Sports Academy, where some of the students are also athletes and whose objective is to do training teams for conflict and crisis.

Lauri Markkanen said that he would rather be exercising like he typically does but he was so intrigued by this since he had heard they make an amazing mix of athletes as well as make one complete your fundamental training.
